Sun shone, laughter flowed, and magic was in the air as our Grade 12 graduating class celebrated their prom last week. It was a special evening that started with an on-campus reception for grads and their families, moved to the Public Gardens for quintessential photo ops, and ended at the Lord Nelson Hotel with a formal dinner and dance. Dressed in their finery, the graduates radiated good cheer and a certain sense of relief as they celebrated the end of their high school careers. The night was punctuated by remarks from Head of School Dennis Phillips, a toast to the graduates by Senior School Principal Dr. Wally MacAskill, a toast to teachers from Head of Barat Academy Students, Helen Bullock, and a toast to parents by Head of Fountain Academy Students, Will Regan. What a joy to see everyone in such high spirits and to celebrate all of the hard work and determination that got them to this day.
