At Sacred Heart School of Halifax, we want to get to know you, but we really want you to get to know us. We think you’ll like what you discover!
We welcome families to join us in person to explore our historic campus, see our School in action, and meet some of our teachers and students who make the Sacred Heart experience so special. You can also learn more about the value of a Sacred Heart education.

Entrance Scholarship Testing
We are currently accepting entrance scholarship applications for Grades 7 to 12 applicants for September 2024. If granted, these entrance scholarships are valued between $500 and $3,000. In addition to completing the application form, we require the following:
- The most recent report card and the two previous final reports
- A teacher recommendation form
- A brief essay (250 words or less) about what you have learned from your community or family
To arrange for a testing spot: Submit an online application using our website and register using the following link. A member of our admissions team will be in touch with next steps. The entrance scholarship testing is conducted in-person at Sacred Heart.

Discovery Morning
Sacred Heart is a warm and welcoming community and we invite you to discover what makes our school so special by joining us for Discovery Mornings. In addition to a comprehensive tour, you can speak to some of our faculty and see first-hand their passion for educating and nurturing our students.
Walk in Wednesday
We invite you to our historic campus on Spring Garden Road for Walk-in-Wednesday. You’ll learn about our programs, enjoy a tour, and meet Sacred Heart community members who will be on hand for conversation and to answer your questions.
