It was a bittersweet day as the Class of 2023 crossed the stage to accept their high school diplomas as new graduates. While it ends their high school careers with us, it marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives as they embark on a new journey that we hope is filled with success, opportunity, and adventure. 

After our graduates were led into the Fred George Gym by alumnus Cameron Barrett on the pipes, they joined their families in our formal proceedings that included opening remarks from Head of School Dennis Phillips, the distribution of diplomas and prizes, remarks from valedictorians — Ryan Labarge for the Fountain Academy students and Olivia Jolin for the Barat Academy students — and wise and inspiring words from our guest speakers Dr. Rohini Bannerjee and Dr. Katharina Kieser. A special thanks to Steffan George-Wegner for his musical accompaniment. 

After the formalities, graduates celebrated with families and classmates, posed for photos, and hugged teachers one last time. It was as memorable a day as it was meaningful.
