Big Hearts Bursary Benefit

THE 2025 BIG HEARTS BURSARY BENEFIT, PRESENTED BY SUPPLEMENT KING & DR. TABITHA ROGERS ’91, IS COMING SOON!
With this year’s theme, Soirée by the Sea, our annual Big Hearts Bursary Benefit will celebrate all the wonderful ways we are fortunate to live in Nova Scotia! This year’s event is scheduled for April 26th at Pier 21 and is guaranteed to be a spectacular evening! This year’s Chair is Sacred Heart parent Victoria Apold who is joined by a terrific team of volunteers. If you’re interested in joining our incredible roster of sponsors or donors, check out our sponsorship package and be in touch with Miriam Regan. This amazing event brings our community together to raise money for our Bursary Fund, a crucial part of our mission to provide the best education to as many students as possible.
WHAT IS OUR BURSARY FUND?
Our Bursary Fund transforms lives by making a Sacred Heart education possible for students who otherwise would not be here. This fund provides tuition assistance to families in need and gives us a broader socio-economic mix of students who bring important perspectives and voices to our community. They in turn go on to make meaningful impacts in our world.
2024-25 BURSARY BY THE NUMBERS
83 students
17% of the student body
$7,250 average tuition support

Here’s a win-win! Purchase one — or many — of our online 50/50 Raffle Tickets for your chance to win big. The winner will receive half the proceeds and the Bursary Fund will receive the other half. The more tickets sold, the bigger the pot, so encourage your friends, family, and neighbours to get in on the action!
